GDPR and data handling

The GameIn Systems pilot is designed to keep esports activity transparent and verifiable. We only process data needed for accounts, verification, competitions, agreements, security, and platform administration.

What we store

Data categories

  • Account data: email address, display name, main nickname, status, roles, and secure login data.
  • Profile data: country, birth date, avatar, banner, bio, optional public Discord, and game IDs.
  • Verification data: name, birth date, temporary ID-card number, and temporary Discord contact used for video verification. Temporary sensitive fields are deleted after the admin decision.
  • Platform history: competition entries, results, agreement workflows, admin decisions, public professional feed events, and audit logs.
  • Security data: sessions, remember-login tokens, GameIn Identity Credential events, replacement requests, and support tickets.
  • Statistiques opérationnelles et d’activité du compte: pages vues agrégées, actions internes, domaine source et code pays, ainsi que l’activité et le nombre de visites quotidiens des comptes. Nous ne stockons ni IP, requête, valeur de formulaire ou empreinte navigateur, et ne relions pas les pages visitées au compte.

Why

Purpose and legal basis

In the pilot, data is used to operate accounts, protect the system, maintain verified esports records, review roles, and handle documented team workflows.

Your account email is never public. Birth date is private, but may be required for age-restricted competitions. You control optional public profile fields.

Rights

What you can request

  • You can ask what data we process and why.
  • You can download the raw export linked to your account in JSON format.
  • You can request correction of incorrect personal data.
  • You can request deletion or anonymization of personal fields.
  • You can request restriction of certain processing or object to it.

Some competition, result, agreement, and audit records may remain for platform integrity, protection of other parties, or legal proof. In those cases personal fields are deleted or anonymized while the historical event remains.
