Development log

The player-friendly history of GameIn: new features, quality-of-life improvements, and direct links in one place.

v0.6.15 July 2026
Current development stage

Premium achievement badge artwork

The achievement badge asset set has been refreshed with detailed premium esports-style graphics. The badges keep the same milestone system and profile showcase behavior, but now fit the darker GameIn visual layer more closely.

v0.6.14 July 2026

Active profiles and privacy-first city checks

The six-phase profile activation work is complete: Profile HP and lifecycle, personal invitations, graphical badges, and achievements calculated from trusted platform data now form one system. Optional competition city checks compare location with a public city boundary inside the browser; precise location is never sent or stored, and denying permission does not block entry or check-in.

v0.6.13 July 2026

Profile progress, invitations, and achievements

Profile HP now guides players toward active status, personal invitations connect friends through a protected referral flow, and graphical achievements can be displayed on public profile banners. Finished competitions, played matches, completed organizer work, and current verified professional roles now unlock trustworthy milestones.

v0.6.12 July 2026

Steam game identifiers and Fair Play rating

Linked Steam accounts can now detect GameIn-supported games and suggest verified game identifiers for profiles. Participation, completion, and no-show events from finished competitions contribute to a separate Fair Play rating, with justified-absence protection and judge adjustments.

v0.6.11 July 2026

Linked identifiers and Identity Lock

Google, Discord and Steam accounts, together with mobile and desktop identity devices, now strengthen one competition identity. The source of every point and the linked state are visible; Identity Lock requires 7 points across at least 4 provider categories, while external account changes use a reasoned, reviewed request flow.

v0.6.10 July 2026

Discord identity groundwork

Discord OAuth groundwork has been added to linked identifiers: Discord is not a registration or sign-in entry point, but a verified provider anchor. Profiles only show Discord after explicit public opt-in, and verification can prefer the linked Discord identity.

v0.6.9 July 2026

Stable polish pass

This release stabilizes the new identity and connected-account flows, adds public player browsing and game icons, improves navigation and language coverage, and tidies several admin and competition screens.

v0.6.8 July 2026

Cleaner competition creation

The competition creation flow was simplified, translated, and made clearer: final venues can now be selected from verified venues or entered manually, VOD links are explained as post-event editable data, and unnecessary regional scheduling fields were removed from the basic competition form.

v0.6.7 July 2026

Privacy and account lifecycle

The pilot now includes a public privacy hub, GDPR data export, immediate account erasure/anonymization, a goodbye flow, and safer deleted-account handling across profiles and platform history.

v0.6.6 July 2026

Schools and documented workflows

The Wiki and development log now cover school profiles, representative claims, minor-player validation, contractual team workflows, support tickets, and advertiser accounts.

v0.6.5 July 2026

Contractual teams and expanded competition flows

Regional competition logic was expanded, and the contractual team workflow now includes a printable agreement, signed document upload, closable workflow states, and administrator visibility.

v0.6.4 July 2026

Partner ads and verified venues

Timed partner ads, pinned GameIn announcements, venue representation claims, and a protected administrator document archive are now available.

v0.6.3 July 2026

Multilingual regional market

Market listings now include a communication language and European region, with country, city, and Google-powered radius filters.

v0.6.2 July 2026

Support tickets and persistent sign-in

A support system now handles protected screenshots and administrator replies, the Wiki is public, and Remember me survives a browser restart.

v0.6.1 July 2026

Searchable GameIn Wiki and introduction

The complete user handbook launched with roles, verification, market, and competition workflows, alongside an About page explaining the GameIn mission.

v0.6.0 July 2026

Complete competition workflow and visual brackets

The competition journey now runs from registration and check-in through result reporting to completion, with elimination brackets, podiums, and system-published final results.

v0.5.0 July 2026

GameIn Identity and safer sign-in

Device-bound Identity Credentials, mobile biometric verification, identity event logs, and secure persistent sign-in have arrived.

v0.4.0 June 2026

Market, applications, and agreements

Players, teams, and organizations can publish listings, manage applications, open purpose-bound conversations, and conclude versioned agreements.

v0.3.0 June 2026

Professional feed and personal network

The feed gained category filters, positive reactions, and continuous loading. Following, mutual connections, and detailed player profiles were introduced.

v0.2.0 June 2026

Organizations, teams, and verified roles

Organization and team pages, administered verification flows, and the foundations for owner, manager, coach, caster, and judge roles were created.

v0.1.0 June 2026

The GameIn framework is born

The multilingual dark interface launched with Google and email registration, searchable player profiles, and permission-aware navigation.
